QUALIFYING SPOTS:
Players will be competing for Fifteen (15) Qualifying Spots and Two (2) Alternate Positions.

FORMAT:
18 Holes of Stroke Play to qualify non-exempt competitors into the 2023 Illinois Open Championship Monday - Wednesday, July 31st-August 2nd, 2023. In case of a tie for the qualifying or alternate position(s), there will be a sudden death playoff following the posting of the final scores. Playoff holes will be determined by the Tournament Committee.

Dress Code (NO SHORTS):
Players and caddies may not wear blue jeans and may not wear collarless t-shirt or tank tops. Men will observe the dress code of the PGA Tour, NO SHORTS. Exception: Caddies may wear tailored shorts.

Player Bag Transportation:
Players MAY NOT carry their own bag or use a push cart. A player must either use a caddie or a motorized cart. There is a fee for players taking a motorized cart that must be paid in the pro shop prior to teeing off, and there will be no more than two carts per group

ELIGIBILITY:
Both exempt and individuals attempting to qualify must meet one of the following eligibility categories.
1. Legal Resident of Illinois.
2. Illinois Section - PGA Member, Associate or Pre-Associate.
3. Non-PGA Golf Professional working as such on a full-time basis within the state of Illinois.
4. Graduate of a high school or postsecondary school within the boundaries of the state of Illinois.
5. Presently enrolled at a postsecondary school (College or the like) within the boundaries of the state of Illinois. Including incoming freshmen.
**For categories 1-3, the requirements must be applicable at the time of registration and participation in any/all qualifiers/championships.
Please note of the following in regard to eligibility
1. Players may be required to provide documentation to prove eligibility upon request. This could include a tax return, driver's license, utility bills, diploma, paystub or housing lease.

NOTE: Players may register for one (1) qualifying event for the Illinois Open Championship. If a player would like to play in a second Illinois Open Qualifier, that event MUST be the Last Chance Qualifier.
