ABOUT:
The Illinois PGA Pro-Superintendent Championship pairs one Illinois PGA professional with his/her facility's golf course superintendent in a two-person team scramble event. The amateur players do use their handicaps during the competition.
FORMAT:
18-holes of two (2) person scramble. Each partner must contribute four (4) tee shots. Net awards are based on 30% of the amateurs handicap. There will also be a gross award for the first place gross team. Winnings are based on team score, with amateurs receiving gift certificates. In case of a tie for all spots in the money, a scorecard playoff will break ties from the hardest handicap holes forward.
For all Illinois PGA Pro-Amateur Events, all contestants MUST use a motorized golf cart.
