FROM Chicago:
Take 94 North to Route 137 (Buckley Rd) (North of Libertyville) exit and turn West. Go West past Milwaukee Blvd then past the light at Butterfield Rd, 100 feet past Butterfield exit on to Peterson Rd. Follow Peterson Rd until it ends at Route 60. Turn right and travel 3-4 miles to the entrance on the South side of Highway 60.

ELIGIBILITY:
IPGA Class A Members in good standing.
FORMAT:
54 Holes of Stroke Play competition for the Illinois Section PGA Championship and a predetermined number of spots and alternates for the Club Professional Championship. In case of a playoff for the championship, there will be a three (3) hole total stroke playoff following the posting of the final scores. If the tie has not been broken after three holes, the playoff shall continue at sudden death. Playoff holes to be determined by the Tournament Committee. In case of a tie for qualifying position(s) there will be a sudden death playoff following posting of the final score.
NATIONAL ENTRY DEADLINE:
Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 4:00 PM CDT. Please contact PGA of America at (800) 474-2776 to sign-up for the event.
NATIONAL QUALIFYING SPOTS:
There will be twelve(12) qualifying spots and three (3) alternates spots available for the 43rd (2009) PGA Professional National Championship, contested on Sunday -Wednesday, June 27 - June 30, 2009 at French Lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana.
SECTION ENTRY DEADLINE:
Once the list of entries is available from PGA of America, the IPGA will enter all players into the event, free of charge.
FIELD SIZE:
The field will not be limited, but will be cut after 36 holes to the low 60 players and ties.
STARTING TIMES & GROUPINGS:
Will be available on Friday, August 21, 2009 after 3:00 p.m. by checking www.ipga.com, or by calling Stonewall Orchard Golf Club. Pairings will also be emailed to all players once they are finalized.
PRACTICE ROUNDS:
Please contact Stonewall Orchard Golf Club to schedule a practice round starting time.
FOOD & BEVERAGE:
There will be food available for purchase all three (3) days of the Championship.

Crowne Plaza - Chicago/North Shore - (847) 949-5100.
This hotel will be the official hotel provider for the Illinois PGA Section Championship. The hotel is offering a rate of $99.00 per night (single / double)+ tax.
