HOST PROFESSIONALS: Chris Gumbach 630-279-5444.
ELIGIBILITY: PGA Member or approved apprentice in the Illinois PGA. Amateur’s players must be from the same facility and be the past or current club champion. Amateurs must have a current computerized handicap at professional's facility.
FORMAT: 18 Holes of stroke play, One (1) Gross Best Ball of the team. The team shall consist of one Professional and the club champion or runner-up. In case of a tie in all moneyed places, a scorecard playoff will be determined from the hardest handicap hole forwards.
ENTRY FEE: $300.00 per team.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 11:59 p.m., CDT. The first 60 team entries will be accepted into the field. Players must sign-up online with credit card payment prior to the entry deadline.
STARTING TIMES & GROUPINGS: There will be a shotgun start beginning at 1:00 p.m. Groupings will be available on Friday, October 10, 2008 by calling River Forest CC or by checking www.ipga.com. Starting times and groupings will also be emailed to all players after they are set.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please contact River Forest CC to schedule a practice round starting time.
FOOD & BEVERAGE: A buffet lunch will be provided to all competitors before golf. Following the event, heavy hors dourvers & drinks will be served in the dining room.
