From the WEST: Take I-90 East to Highway 59 (Sutton Road), head south on IL-59, turn left on Golf Road, take Golf Road east to Roselle Road. Turn right on Roselle Road, heading south. The club entrance will be on your left in betweem Higgins Road and Schaumurg Road.
From the EAST: Take I-90 West past 355/290 towards Rockford, to Roselle Rd exit, go South. The club entrance will be on your left in between Higgins Rd and Schaumburg Rd.

HOST PROFESSIONALS: Preston Irwin, Director of Golf and Jonathon Parsons, Head Golf Professional (847) 885-9000.
ELIGIBILITY: All Illinois residents who have reached their 50th birthday by September 24th, 2007. Amateurs must have a handicap index of 12.0 or less to compete. Those amateurs 60 & over must have a handicap index of 15.0 or less to compete. Handicaps must be verified by an Illinois PGA Professional.
FORMAT: The Illinois Senior Open is a 36 hole stroke play event WITHOUT a cut. In case of a playoff for the championship, there will be a three (3) hole total stroke playoff following the posting of the final scores. If the tie has not been broken after three holes, the playoff shall continue at sudden death. Playoff holes to be determined by the Tournament Committee.
ENTRY FEE: $155.00 per player
$5.00 OPTIONAL CONTRIBUTION TO THE IPGA FOUNDATION
ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday, September 17, 2007 at 11:59 p.m., CDT. The first 144 entries will be accepted into the field. Exempt entries will be given preference over non-exempt entries. Non-exempt entries will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis.
Players must sign-up online with credit card payment prior to the entry deadline. Late entry fees will not be accepted, and refunds will NOT be given after the entry deadline. There will be an administraion fee of $10.00 for any player withdrawing prior to the entry deadline.
STARTING TIMES & GROUPINGS: Pairings will be available on Tuesday, September 18 by calling the IPGA office, Schaumburg CC or by visiting www.ipga.com. Pairings will also be emailed to all players once they are finalized.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please call ahead to schedule your one practice round. Tee times are Monday thru Friday when available. The one practice round is complimentary and the cart fee is $17.00. There shall be no complimentary practice rounds scheduled on the weekends.
FOOD & BEVERAGE: A lunch buffet will be provided to all competitors following the first and second rounds. The food, atmosphere and service are wonderful. The club’s Chef provides gourmet standard fare at reasonable club prices along with a mixture of simple favorites, while the bar features an excellent selection of drinks at a similar value.
SPIKE POLICY: Metal and/or soil penetrating spikes will not be allowed at any Illinois PGA sanctioned event unless otherwise specified. For further information this policy is listed on Page 4 of the Illinois PGA Section Tournament Rules & Regulations, Conduct, Eligibility and Policies which can be viewed at www.ipga.com. Penalty for breach of this rule is DISQUALIFICATION.
DRESS CODE & CONDUCT: Contestants may not wear blue jeans and may not wear collarless t-shirt or tank tops. Men will observe the dress code of the PGA TOUR, NO SHORTS. Women will observe the dress code of the LPGA TOUR.
CADDIES: While on the host facility property, caddies may wear either long pants or tailored solid colored knee length shorts. Blue jeans, cutoffs, T-shirts or shirts with no collar shall be worn. Smooth rubber sole shoes are required. Golf shoes with traditional metal or soft spikes are prohibited.
A player or caddy conducting himself/herself in a manner unbecoming professional, or found to be using or selling illegal substances, or using alcohol in an abusive manner could result in the removal of the player from the competition for conduct unbecoming a professional.
