FORMAT: 18 hole stroke play qualifying for the 2007 LaSalle Bank Open, May 31-June 3, 2007 at The Glen Club, Glenview, Illinois.
QUALIFYING SPOTS: There will be three (3) qualifying spots available. If there is a tie for the last qualifying spot(s), a sudden death playoff will commence immediately after the conclusion of play.
ELIGIBILITY: Illinois PGA “Class A” members in good standing. Note: Class A-3 members of the Section are ineligible to participate in the IPGA “Class A” member qualifying for Nationwide Tour events.
ENTRY FEE: $75.00 per player.
Optional Donation to the Illinois PGA Foundation $ 5.00
ENTRY DEADLINE: Thurday, May 10, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. All entry fees must be made online at www.ipga.com. An administrative fee of $10.00 will be charged for any player withdrawing from the event.
FIELD SIZE: The first 81 entries will be accepted into the qualifying event.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: To schedule a practice round starting time, please contact Springbrook Golf Course. Please note: Practice rounds will be available weekdays before 12:00 PM and weekends after 11:30 AM. Practice round fees are $47.00 per round (includes green fee, golf cart.)
FOOD & BEVERAGE: There will be a complimentary lunch buffet available after play.
TRANSPORTATION: Players and Caddies shall walk at all times during the stipulated round, except when permitted to ride by the Rules Committee. Players are not required to have a caddie; they may carry their own bag or use a manual or motorized pull cart. Caddies WILL be available at Springbrook Golf Course, please contact the golf shop for reservations.
STARTING TIMES & GROUPINGS: Contestants shall be responsible for their starting times and groupings. All starting times and groupings will be listed on www.ipga.com as well as emailed to all players once they are finalized. Starting times will also be available by calling Springbrook Golf Course.
SPIKE POLICY: Metal and/or soil penetrating spikes will not be allowed at any Illinois PGA sanctioned event unless otherwise specified. For further information this policy is listed on Page 4 of the Illinois PGA Section Tournament Rules & Regulations, Conduct, Eligibility and Policies which can be viewed at www.ipga.com. Penalty for breach of this rule is DISQUALIFICATION.
RULES OF GOLF: Play shall be governed in accordance with the Rules of Golf of the United States Golf Association, as modified by the IPGA 2007 Local Rules and Conditions of Competition card and supplemented by the Notice to Competitors. Questions or disputes shall be settled by the on site Rules Committee appointed by the IPGA, whose decision shall be final.
