HOST PROFESSIONAL: Robert Powers (847) 835-5835.
ELIGIBILITY: IPGA Member classified as A-8 or Registered Apprentices.
FORMAT: 36 Holes of Stroke Play competition for the Illinois Section PGA Assistants Championship. In case of a playoff for the championship, there will be a three (3) hole total stroke playoff following the posting of the final scores. If the tie has not been broken after three holes, the playoff shall continue at sudden death. Playoff holes to be determined by the Tournament Committee. In case of a tie for qualifying position(s) there will be a sudden death playoff following posting of the final scores. In case of a tie for the championship, there will be a three (3) hole total stroke playoff following the posting of the final scores. ENTRY FEE: $160.00 per player.
NATIONAL ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 4:00 PM CDT. Please contact PGA of America at (800) 474-2776 to sign-up for the event.
FIELD SIZE: Field size will be limited to the first 102 players.
STARTING TIMES & GROUPINGS: Will be available on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 by checking www.ipga.com, or by calling Skokie CC. Pairings will also be emailed to all players once they are finalized.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds will NOT be available for this event.
FOOD & BEVERAGE: A lunch buffet will be available for all players following round one.
