ELIGIBILITY: IPGA Class A Members in good standing.
FORMAT: 54 Holes of Stroke Play competition for the Illinois Section PGA Championship and a predetermined number of spots and alternates for the Club Professional Championship. (Number of qualifying spots may increase or decrease based on the National entries. In case of a playoff for the championship, there will be a three (3) hole total stroke playoff following the posting of the final scores. If the tie has not been broken after three holes, the playoff shall continue at sudden death. Playoff holes to be determined by the Tournament Committee. In case of a tie for qualifying position(s) there will be a sudden death playoff following posting of the final score.
NATIONAL ENTRY DEADLINE: Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 4:00 PM CDT. Please contact PGA of America at (800) 474-2776 to sign-up for the event.
FIELD SIZE: The field will be limited to 162 players, with a cut after 36 holes to the low 60 and ties.
STARTING TIMES & GROUPINGS: Will be available on Saturday, August 18, 2007 by checking www.ipga.com, or by calling Stonewall Orchard GC. Pairings will also be emailed to all players once they are finalized.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please contact Stonewall Orchard Golf Club to schedule a practice round starting time. Please note the specific practice round schedule below:
Monday, August 13 - Before 11:00am or after 2:00pm
Thursday, August 16 - After 2:00pm
Monday, August 20 - Before 11:00 am or after 2:00pm
Wednesday, August 22 - After 2:00pm
Thursday, August 23 - After 2:00pm
Sunday, August 26 - Between 2:00pm & 3:00pm
