| Measuring Devices(Not Allowed) |
The Illinois Section will allow the use of devices that measure distance only in all 2006 IPGA sanctioned events (e.g., Stroke Plays, Pro-Specials, etc.) Use of such devices will be prohibited in the Section PPNC, Senior PPNC and Assistants’ Championship. The use of devices that gauge or measure other conditions that might affect a player's play, (e.g., wind, temperature, gradient etc.) regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used, is not permitted. (Rule 14-3/0.5). A competitor in breach of this policy shall be disqualified. |
| National Qualifying Spots |
There will be eleven (11) qualifying spots and three (3) alternate spots available for the 2008 PGA Professional National Championship, June 2008 at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia. |
